The research aims to examine the inclination of university students towards sports activities. The interest and participation of university students in physical activity are important due to their various positive effects, such as promoting a healthy lifestyle, reducing stress, and strengthening social connections. The research was conducted with 384 students enrolled at Karabuk University, using the "Sports Orientation Scale" developed by Pons et al. (2006) and adapted into Turkish by Çevik et al. (2019). The obtained data were analyzed using the SPSS program. According to the results of the multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) and correlation tests, significant differences were found in terms of age and gender in all sub-dimensions of socialization, emotion seeking, and information seeking (p < .05). Additionally, the correlation results indicate strong and positive relationships among all sub-dimensions.
